i ordered a shirt from them two months ago, but i haven't gotten it yet. i emailed them too, but still no response. has this ever happened to anyone? btw whens the next issue coming out?

The mag should be out early next week. As for the shirt, just be persistant. Butch can be hard to get a hold of. You could always order one from Skim City if you run out of patience.

When I first ordered a subscription from them a few years ago I missed 1 or 2 issues after my check had been cashed. I never got any response from emails but I finally got ahold of them on AIM. Once I did, they deeply appologized for the confusion and got my missing issues right out to me along with a few stickers. Sometimes mistakes just happen...

any idea if the new issue has shots from that ridiculous day at aliso profiled in FSM (sept 23)? one of the photogs on the beach said he was shooting for skim mag...paulo and geo got some really epic wraps at the main peak and i'm hoping someone nailed the shots

also just some shots of the sets marching in would make a great two page spread

maybe aaron scored some video?

as far as i know, and correct me if i'm wrong, but skim mag is all he does.

he should just hire more staff to help him out so that he can get things done quicker. this would also make his customers happier so that he won't lose them to other companies such as skimshop or skimcity, therefore generating more income

I don't think skimshop or skimcity are even on skim mags' radar as far as competition. The only thing that would be remotely close to skim mag is FSM. And the main thing diferntiating between those two is one is a print publication and the other is not... And since my last post wasn't clear enough, hiring a staff requries paying a staff. This industry is starved for cash as it is, how do you expect him to hire a staff?

regardless of how many people he hires or what their job descriptions are, how do you expect him to hire a staff when he probably barely breaks even on making the magazine in the first place?

if he did hire a staff i seriously doubt his reader base or retail customers would increase, or be affected at all, so if he's barely breaking even and he starts hiring staff without making any more money then he does now, skim mag will go under

This Thursday at Club M in Laguna is the release party for the new mag. Dirty Sanchez and Luxxury will be playing. I think its 10 or 15 bucks to get in 21+

well when in business sometimes its bitter than sweet. it might ber hard at first with more staff, but he will be pumping more magazine flow could get everything out faster, maybe more mags to ship around the world if people are interested. I ordered a magazine and a shirt on September 15th, and still have not yet recieved it.
I tried to file a claim with paypal and open a case, but it said that I could not because Skim Mag won't allow me to file it.
