I heard that Ocean Isle was a great spot to skim, from the spots tab on the main page. I got here today, there are shells galore, its super flat, and the waves break like 40 feet out. Am I in the exact wrong spot or something?

you know sand/wind/waves change right?
well thats what I was wondering. Did it all change, or am I just at the exact wrong spot?
Sounds like low tide to me. Most beach breaks are best at high tide.
