    Default Ocean Isle Beach *URGENT*

I heard that Ocean Isle was a great spot to skim, from the spots tab on the main page. I got here today, there are shells galore, its super flat, and the waves break like 40 feet out. Am I in the exact wrong spot or something?

Sounds like low tide to me. Most beach breaks are best at high tide.
