This summer has blown.

I feel like since I turned 16, everything has changed so much. Like last summer I had so much fun surfing and skimboarding every day and hanging with friends. Good memories like biking down to the pier for a surf contest will all my friends, competing in the vilano proam, drivers ed (super fun class), hitting up the gas station for snacks, and just hanging with friends.

This summer it's like everyone has their licenses, no one wants to bike places anymore. No one wants to wake up early and catch a surf session. Getting snacks at the gas station is "trashy".

I'm thinking maybe it's one of those summers where everyone is just busy, and out of town. And next summer might return to normal. But maybe it's not everyone else. It could be me. Like I need something new to do. I'm just bummed about this summer.

There's only 2 reasons i'm looking forward to summer...Bonnaroo and a skim trip up the east coast. The rest sucks. It's 110 degrees out and the gulf is worst than a lake.
