The panhandle is really inconsistent during the late spring/summer. It'll get more consistent when fall and winter roll back around....or via storm this summer.

Finding good waves on the Gulf Coast requires putting time in to search every spot and being there at the right tide...also ttakes a good bit of luck. If you go to one spot and expect it to be good or think every other spot will be the same, you're doing it wrong. You need to check all the parking lots, walk around a bit, and just take note of what spots seem to work the most/least. It's amazing how one spot can completely suck, but you walk 300 yards and there's a little hole where it's breaking pretty decently...just takes some work sometimes, which sucks.
