I'll be staying right off of St.Luice Inlet for the week of Nov. 11th. Is there any skim there?
There's skim everywhere.
I bought a $5 dollar board at Sam's Club once and skimmed in the street. You can also grind curbs if you feel like risking busting something.
But it's worth it.
uhhhh southside is a little finger and nature preserve thats unreachable unless youve got a boat or hile from hobesound public beach...buttttt it doesnt pick up swell its weird. northside is doable but ive found the sand super mushy...drive about 10 minutes north to stuart beach or jensen...its better there.
I'm going because my Dads friends just had a baby and he lives in stuart. We might stay on some place on Stuart beach apparently. How's it there?
much better. Theres skim all up and down hutchinson island. Theres lots of people on here from that area.
damn boy your lucky, your staying in sailfish point? thats st.lucie inlet, pm me or get with me cuase i know once we get big swell and its super windy that place goes off. i have footage from liners that are like 15 second rides, but other than that youd have to go to jensen or six cuase that place doesnt do good unless you have a solid 3ft swell or bigger.
stuart sucks and its super troughy it used to be good but no more, six is right next to it or its also called access six, tiger shores, and if you stay that week into the next weekend were havin a skim comp/jam
What day is the skim comp? I'll be down thanksgiving break too to visit family because they all live close in deerfield, boca, pompano and jupiter. If it's during that week I might be able to make it.

yea the skim jam/comp is nov 18th, but yea st.lucie inlet gets fun and if nowhere else is breaking ( jensen/stuart/six ) we have some other spots that usually always break and if none of those are breaking st.lucie inlet is usually fun cuase theres no through like right infront of the club house for sailfish point and it breaks pretty fun.

ok but just to let you know your not going to like it one bit at stuart, go to tigershores/acces six, its like not even a mile from stuart public beach, place is one big sandbar, somedays theres no trough and tones of slope but lots of backwash, then somedays it pointbreaks, garuntee you skim there at low tide its good at one spot then at high its good like 30 yards away.
