I feel like attending a UC puts me in a bubble where everyone is committed to education and at least marginally intelligent. It just makes it that much more shocking when i hear a person from outside the bubble make a serious comment regarding astrology, or something comparably nonsensical (psychics, creationism,.... reebok easy-tones) . It reminds me that my world is actually a whole lot dumber than the mini-world I'm living in while in school. I think I might go crazy if I leave the bubble right after I get a B.S.
