Blake kills it no doubt whatsoever. But his drop is terrible, and ive said that to him before. He could be a lot better if he switched to a BFF drop..

idk about other people but when i judge pro heats i dont look at the drop; i look at the tricks, completion and style. you guys shouldnt be so damn technical!!

He does have a pretty nasty drop, I agree with you on that. But, if he can have a drop like that and still kill it the way he does, it shows he's got some true talent. Not hatin, just sayin.

im really sick of the drop arguments. blake skims good and from what i've seen he never falls on his drop. Plenty of times i have seen one step BFF and FFF mess up because they got on wrong. Now i don't care if your momentum is going forward when you drop BFF and going downward if you drop FFF but i experiment with both and notice 2 things.

1 - BFF i have more control and time to set up.
2 - FFF i can reach waves farther (because i can drop in deeper water easier) and it allows you to plane out faster (IMO)

On the east coast (of florida) i will definitely agree with FFF drop because of what i stated above and because most spots don't offer much slope (potential for speed). On the other hand, if you live in california, mexico, chile, etc... you have steep beach breaks where BFF is easier, offers more control, and a ton of more time to set up.

its faster. but yes fff lets you drop in deeper water quicker. it really has to do with how smoothly you get on the board with whatever drop you use
