that essential nero mix is rocking the shit at work right now
HELL frackING YES it is. I've worn that thing out over the last few months.
So this morning I heard the best thing I've heard yet on DI radio. I was on the DnB station and this came on, looked it up and it's a 2 hour set, the 15 mins I heard though were mindblowing. If you're impatient jump to 8:00 at least....

Ok, I'm 48 minutes in, and I'm not lying, this shits all over Netsky's essential mix.
blasphemy but I'll listen to it all.
netsky mix has gotten me through so many workouts/drives to the beach/etc. theres at least 15 parts where I shit myself EVERY. DAMN. TIME.
Yeah, agreed. This mix is really amazing but Netsky's has more variety, more ups and downs. Plus it's so much of his own material woven in. This is really an amazing mix though, just a darker, little bit harder vibe.
Maybe "shits all over" was a bit strong.
I've listened to about 30 mins of it so far, it's awesome. The guy is a great DJ, absolutely seamless mixing. Gonna try to listen to a good chunk of it today, saving it for the gym later.
This is the most recent mix posted on the +db channel... 15 mins in and this is seriously rocking my tits right now:

OK so I've listened to the first half of that Cherokee Mist mix like 3 times now... shit is awesome. Definitely dark, you need to be in the right mood. Great for workouts and vidya game seshes.
Also the Eric Prydz essential mix I posted is unbelieveable. Seriously fracking amazing.

prog house, my second love child. panic city murdered this. brutally.
pauly d is now "producing" on 50 Cent's label. 50 says he is like David Guetta.
Traslation: he produced none of the material on his own, and all of it is as watered down as possible

I lub me some progressive house. But, nah, I had no idea. If you find it, let me know, I'd be interested to hear it for sure. p.s. boy* TEED, just one dude.

Haha, oh it hasn't been done yet? Nice, I'll check it out if I'm not doing anything tomorrow. Interesting to see him play other people's music, he doesn't do that often anymore.

The new Jack Beats EP released on OWSLA is pretty dope too. Also has names like Diplo, Dillon Francis, and Example on it.

That's what's so cool about the essential mix... people play stuff they usually don't ever get to at clubs or festivals. They just play their shit and stuff they like, or sometimes go totally wild. I was just listening to one from '98 by this deep house producer ashley beedle, he used his essential mix slot to play 2 full hours of roots reggae.
this dillon choon is sick. I just found out that diplo produced MIA's paper planes... had no idea. makes sense because that is an awesome beat.
Haha yea, they don't have to please a crowd or keep up their trademark showmanship, so just play whatever they want. Definitely a cool thing they've got going.
heard that a week ago... honestly didn't like it. original is so much better. weird cause I love Dillon's stuff

just heard this on annie mac's show
Can't decide..
Buy Mixtrack Pro, which I can buy on my next paycheck. Then get used to it and shit and mayeb sell it off later and buy a better one.
Or wait another month or so and buy Traktor controller.
Probs go with Mixtrack Pro for now just so I can get my hands on something.
Oh, and those are dope^^ Really digging that Style of Eye one.
my s2 is tits, I def recommend the traktor stuff
Yea, if money wasn't an issue, it'd be Traktor all the way. But, that's not the case. From all I've read and heard the mixtrack Pro seems like a solid intro deck that will do what I need for a bit. I won't need it for anything extensive for awhile, so I feel like just buying the Mixtrack now will end up being the better route because I can get working earlier and then upgrade when I do have the money.
Here's the TEED Essential Mix: http://soundcloud.com/t-e-e-d/totall...mous-extinct-7
I've only listened to mayeb 20 or 30 minutes so far but I like it. Different. Funky. Great mixing.
Remix of an ICP song at the end, wat.
