were trying to bring back old school 90's hip hop because todays shit sucks. my friend devin mc's and i think he has potential. he basically looks like a 90's kid. haha.

If you and I were Squirrels, I'd store my nuts in your hole

I think you mean the apc40 (apc = ableton performance controller)
http://www.akaipro.com/apc40
idk watever....now that i have ableton and a little extra cash, is it worth buying it?
If you and I were Squirrels, I'd store my nuts in your hole
the mix sounds too amatuerish. You need to tweak the settings of the instruments. It sounds like you just pulled up a preset and just went to town. To me, how your instruments and textures sound are just as, if not more, important than what they are even playing. If it *sounds* good, it's going to sound better.
ya with logic i found that harder. ableton is 1000 times better. but ya i agree
If you and I were Squirrels, I'd store my nuts in your hole
well, it's all midi, right?
can you send me the logic file? I wanna see if I can remix it.
skimiks, the APC is tight, but not necessary. It's a performance controller, which means you don't really need it unless you're playing gigs every night. It's cool, it basically just eliminates the need for a mouse. I have one, it makes mixing and recording a lot easier, but it is not necessary at all. If you got $400 burning a hole in your pocket, go for it.
Can't wait for Akai to drop the MPKmini
This + Laptop = mobile studio. 12 inches across, less than 2 lbs. between $99-199. I'm definitely copping one when it comes out.

just finished a new track, a little glitch-hop remix of Steve Miller's "Space Cowboy" this shit was fun, check it:

edited my track G Man. it should sound better. hq 320 download available.

dude that akai mini is exactly what I was looking for... but we'll see how my numark ends up working out. I am comfortable with virtualdj but should I just use traktor? (comes with it) idkk
virtual DJ sucks if you're trying to get serious. its fun to mess with at partys and stuff and to learn on, but traktor and serato are the best DJ workstations available for spinning seriously
thats pretty much what I've been told I just haven't played too much with traktor
yo does anyone now much about audio mixers for live performances, say on a 40k watt PA system? I need some help
speaking of mixers, I just picked this bad boy (this mixer kinda sucks) up off eBay for a stellar $13.99, no shipping. frack yeah
