aaron, there is a really bad trough. skimmed with paulo today at that bday party he was doing and it was just lapping on the beach. its like 3 feet deep. i hope the swell tomorrow and fri helps the sandbar. its been better up the beach. ive been skimming around 11th lately.

way way better than last year.

from what I have heard it was probably the third best contest conditions of the year (ust), and thats without any cooperation from mother nature (i.e. "a swell")

so I am stoked.

the gold coast classic "contest" had really good conditions
the top prize was a beer and a spliff
i got a broken collar bone
i think that was last place
