They say after they stop it and the well isn't flowing anymore they are going to siphon more onto the surface onto tanks??? Why not just stop it and fill it with cement and be done with it??? I'm beggining to think they are more worried about money being lost on the well instead of trying to plug the fracking anus hole shitting out oil!

propose how they are to fill it right now? cause its completely capped with no way of getting cement in, and if they uncap it... oil pours out. they are gonna cap it with the 2 relief wells, those 2 new wells will reduce the pressure enough to the point that they can pump cement in without it being shot right back out.

because it would shot back up the pipe they would try to pump the cement with. the oil is shooting out at something like 15,000 psi. that means for it to work they'd have to pipe it down at a even greater pressure, which beyond anyone's capabilities

i dont think they are shutting off the oil flow... i think they are capturing it with zero leaking, for a limited time period....

trying to simply cap it will create too much pressure and blow the cap off. they are trying to get a good enough seal to let it flow freely into a containment vessel without leaking...

according to that article they are testing pressure to make sure they're are no holes or leaks...

Nope, they closed all the valves one of which closes slowly so the pressure is applied gradually. Like said they're trying to make sure there's no breaks in the casing, so in this case they actually want high pressure. Once they confirm the well is intact I believe the plan is to extract collect all the oil that's escaping since this cap is such a better fit.
