Just came back from Marine and Windan, neither looked very good - Windansea was probably a little better. Marine was kind of seaweedy and troughy. There was a little swell in the water though, and it might be better tomorrow.

was getting pretty fun today when we left around high tide. I would say best bet is rising tide
edit: coxie, If you're moving for skim then no. But everything else yes. I also think san fransisco is an amazing city and they have skim.

SF seems like it has too many hipsters for me. dont get me wrong i dont mind hipsters but i went there and the place was just fracking crazy.

I skimmed by Carlsbad every summer and its not too bad but thats compared to the east coast so i cant really talk. Are there really no waves there?

and i frackING LOVE the Mexican food in San Diego!

Theres waves. Winters are pretty fun cause you get a sider with out a huge crowd. This summer has been sorta inconsistent though. I was just saying if you're moving out here for skim you might as well move to orange county instead of san diegp

Def needed a big-boy board w/ rocker for today's waves. Was breaking too far out half the time, but the in betweens were nice. Since when did they inforce paid-parking there? So lame...
