    Default The new Slotstik shape

I just saw the new shape @ facebook, called Da Rad.

    What are your opinions?

I think it looks (too) much like a square

That also looks a lot like my flatland board (Switchblade). We tried them on waves, I didn't like it, it just didn't carve, now my son likes them for tricks on waves, but also didn't like the way it didn't carve either. Now maybe Slotstik's carve......I wouldn't know (never tried their board).
    Edit.....maybe it's a flatland board.

da rat... carbon fiber bottom, s-glass top.. perimeter weighting increases spin velocity... this board is cutting edge stuff....
da rat... Rotation and Tech.... perimeter weighting, more stability in windy conditions, bigger wave scores in contests...

this is wat slotstik said about it...

In the past, all the boards I've owned have been Slotty squash tails. Then I got a winged fish and fell in love.

if you can do everything with it, it doesn't excel in 1 thing. If I buy a waveboard, I want to ride waves with it. I don't care how well it rides when flatlanding or wakeskimming. I prefer a specialized board.

Well, that doesn't count. Seabass can do three 3-shuvs in a row on an ironing board. Seriously, an actual ironing board.

Spinning the board is easy, being man enough to land it is the hard part. Getting hit in the ankles sucks.

Looks like a sketchy board, i like it. Probably best on shore break and you can rip the waves.
