    I windsurf...it is teh sick

    Gear: 7.5 Gaastra Matrix, 5.4 Neil Pryde Core, AHD Maxxride 110liter. and a couple of sick fins and a bad ass Neil Pryde Harness.

    yeah i windsurf, well atleast i used to, i'm not windsurfing this summer.

    i mostly do freeriding, it's fun!

    oh yeah, my gear,

    OLd STufF!

    F2 Strato from a long time ago and an ART-Attack(Wave) 5.2m some Newer neilpryde gear and a NP boom

    There are a lot of kiteboarders out here but its really expensive to get into is windsurfing expensive?

    just as expensive as kitesurfing if you go w/ brand new gear

    boards run 900-1600, since most are made w/ carbon fiber now.
    sails are 400-600 or so
    masts and booms anywhere from 100-600...all masts have some percentage carbon usually 30-60-90%

    i almost always buy used gear...since it loses value very quick , best way to go w/ either kiting or windsurfing.

    Almost all my stuff is second hand, and old but it runs fine, and as long as you'll give some love to your material it won't let you down.

    awsome. i just passed my windsurfing instructional cirtification coarse, so i'll be teaching over the summer in st.pete. i've got a '04 starboard carve 99 and a north 5.8, but i use everything from formula race gear to hard- core wave shit.
