If thats the case, even an interview on how skimming came first would be a great thing to add to the documentary.

Well I think skimming started off as its own independent sport and evolved to what it is now. I wouldnt say it branched off of suring but it was definitely influenced by surfing, shaping wise at least.

And as far as interviewing people, PM or email anyone you have in mind, they'll usually respond.
