    Default Oldboy

i originally saw it almost a year ago, and watched it again last night with a friend, if you have not see this movie GO RENT IT NOW AND WATCH IT IMMEDIATELY

such an awesome movie, words cannot even describe, it's korean, which sucks for the illiterate bastards that cant watch movies with subtitles, it does have an english track but overdubbing ruins any movie if you ask me, so watch it with subtitles, anyway stop reading and go rent it

ps: if you like fight scenes involving hammers you will enjoy this movie very much

ong-bak is sick as frack, dont get me wrong, but it's a different kind of movie, its a martial arts movie, and as such the fighting scenes overall are better in ong-bak, so if i was reccomending a movie for someone that just wanted to see people get their ass beat i would suggest ong-bak (especially the part where he throws that guy threw the window and knees him in the chest mid-air)

oldboy overall is a way better movie, it isnt supposed to be just an action movie or a martial arts movie, the fight scenes are chroreographed in a very realistic street fight kind of way, and there really arent many fight scenes, but the plot is waaaay more interesting then ong-bak, which didnt have much of a plot to go on other then a reason for people to fight as much as possible
