Nope, I got the short end up the stick (thanks mom). Dad is 6'2 and before he got old, was a solid 220 or so. Mom on the other hand is 5'2 and petite. I ended up right in the middle at 5'8. Fresh out of college I was about 155 or so and felt and looked good. Between 150 - 155 is a good weight for me. Today I weighed in at 172 with shoes and clothes on.

how do you guys who work full time have time to get to the gym? I'm about to graduate college, right now I'm busy as hell but I work out 4-5x a week. I wonder if I will be able to keep that up

I always make time. It bugs me when I hear people say "they don't have time". It's usually just an excuse. You seem to be making time. You can pull it off.

Get up an hour earlier. I'm usually up from 5:30 to 11 to fit in all my activities, it's not that hard.

All from lean protein, high quality protein shakes, complex carBROhydrates (LOTS of Oatmeal, grains, brown rice etc), fish and olive oil. Some might say that that many calories is unhealthy and equates to eating like shit. Not the case on many levels. My body requires a lot of extra cals to function well in the gym and recover. Sorry to burst your bubble. Stop trying to find anything I say to make me look like I don't know what I'm talking about. You're doing it wrong. Assumed bodyfat figures and LBM aren't going to get you very far here. Another failed attempt but keep trying. *head shakes* I don't mind calling you out though so continue...
I like calling out your bullshit because it seems so ultimately important to you to be an expert on soooo many things. Like Ill said you have to make it a priority. It sucks some times. Not going to lie.

My schedule varies, but most days consist between 10-14 hours of "work". With that being said, it hasn't been till the last month or so that I finally decided to MAKE TIME for the gym. That means waking up earlier and putting in a morning workout. Sure it is easier to sleep in, but you wont be young forever, and you sure as frack wont have the metabolisim you have now in a few more years. The sacrafice is worth it...

Dale, I might come across like that but i certainly don't mean too. Sorry if it bothers you that much. If you want me to prove any of the mentioned things i will be more than happy too. It is not "ultimately important" to me at all to tell about what I've done. i usually explain so people don't think I'm just pulling shit out of my ass. I have done a lot in my life and experienced a lot. when i get into something i like to learn everything i can about it. Maybe it's too much sometimes. I like sharing my experiences with others and help them out or give advice if I can. Didn't mean to offend you. NONE of my posts are BS Everything I post is 100% real. I don't make anything up. i don't understand why you have to be a douche about it all the time. I'd love to hear about things you've done but all you do is seem to look for things to tear people down apart. I don't get it.

Anyway, I'm more of a middle of the day workout type person. I don't mind going in the morning, but I do prefer it over later in the day. That is obviously going to have to change.

I have been on a single body part split for some time now. I will combine bi's/tri's usually because 6 days a week makes me start to hate the gym. 5 is my limit.

So I am at Chest, Back, Shoulders, Legs, Bi's/Tris (not always in that order). I will finish each day with abs or calves. I do 10 minutes of pretty intense cardio before i train. Just enough to get my HR up and break a sweat.

during past summers i had to go to the gym every morning at 7am for football workouts, it sucked but i feel like im more productive throughout the day when i workout in the morning rather than after school and shit, i wish i could get up and do it before school but there is no way in hell thats happening.

I'm the same way. If I start my day with a run or a workout, I feel like I accomplished something already and the rest of my day usually turns out productive.

Yeah short and sweet. A ten minute jog. 10 minute recumbant bike, or if i am doing arms or shoulders i will do eliptical.

It is literally just to get my HR up and warm up but it makes a world of difference to me. I sweat 10x more throughout the entire workout just from that 10 minutes of cardio. It sets the tone nicely.

Well, I don't want to keep this going any longer. Sure I dabble in day trading from time to time to keep things fun (with good success usually) along side my other long term trades. I NEVER claimed to pick my own stocks. Never claimed to be anything like Gekko. This is the kind of shit I'm talking about. YOU make up BS, skew what I say and try to tear it apart. i responded to everything you called me out on in that thread quite well. you spewd 90% bullshit in that thread. do i have to bring up the 6 year old nephew again? fracking dumb. If I "put down tons of BS" give me a few examples. You never respond to 90% of the bullshit you put down that i call you out on. i think you need to go back and look

yeah, those things are brutal. I don't feel like a fag on the elliptical at all. As long as you're muscular and not some skinny queer looking dude. It's one of the best cardio machines there is. It involves much more of your body than other machines. The rowing machine is my favorite though. That is pretty damn taxing

Haha I know these two fatties who come in, sit on the stretch chair for half and hour and go home it's like they think they can stretch themselves out so the fat doesnt look as noticeable?

And with the mere mention of the stair mill on this page, I am hitting that tonight. I love that thing. So much sweat

I wish I could gym it before work. Waking up at 4:45am is already hard enough. Not even sure the gym is open that early.

I have been wanting to just take my shit to work and hit the gym right when I get off. If I go home and want to go to the gym at 6 it usually happens at 7 or doesn't at all. Going at 4:30 straight from work would leave out all opportunities to not go.
