Juliette set off the bomb [at the end of S5], and what were going to see (as I would expect from the S6 titles), is no crash. 815 is going to land in LAX. #3 is a funny title, there was an older EP called "What Kate Did" (past tense vs. present).

The interesting thing, is people who were dead, will be back, but there's some hints on some other boards, that they're going to be like in a weird state (like they know, something is wrong).

The question is how much and who will know about the alternate future? I imagine lots of conflict between those who know, and those who need to know.

There a couple of timeline overviews that suggest missing the crash, causes events which actually cause the crash (which causes a brilliant causality loop).

I hope the ending doesn't disappoint, I've had some real letdowns in some recent shows (Sopranos, BSG)

I can't believe it took me so long to finally start watching this series, but I powered through all 5 seasons as they came out on netflix for streaming. I can't wait to have my mind blown...I was kind thinking Juliette didn't actually set the bomb off at the end and they just flashed up the inverted LOST screen to trick people into thinking that, but judging by DT's master analysis I would be wrong.

The new timeline (i.e., where the plane doesn't go down, I'll call this Timeline 2 or T2), is going to be shown as flash sideways from the original show timeline (Timeline 1/T1), so we'll have concurrent characters from the 70s, present flashing to the T2 versions. I'm assuming they'll all collide at some point.

Note that the "ghosts" that have been seen are characters that are dead in T1, but not [necessarily] so in T2, so I'm assuming they somehow are crossing over and/or are aware of the events of T1 [?]
