I got one for Christmas, and I am slowly learning how to play. If anyone knows how, hit me up because I have a couple ( prop. stupid) questions to ask you. Thanks

I dont play but I just wanted to say thats pretty sweet. Good luck
The most musically inclined person i've ever known had a cello for awhile and it legitimately kicked his ass. He said that because it didn't have frets he would be constantly sharp or flat on any notes he wanted to play. He ended getting rid of it.
In any case, good luck, cellos sound awesome.
Don't bro me if you don't know me.
Cellos are the sickest, most powerful instruments ever. I definitely wish you luck. Playing the cello would be sick.
Cellos are the worst, stupidest instruments ever. Don't play the cello. You/it sucks.
c-c-combo breaker.
I'm so adjective, I verb nouns!
Check with Robs. He plays the skin flute in a rainbow symphony.
differences between the cello and the bass?
i used to play cello for several years in middle and hs. havent played for the last 3 years though b/c i couldnt really play it in the dorms/my apartment. i wasnt the best player i know, so i may not know everything, but i was good enough to play almost all of the songs i wanted to play, well enough to perform for ppl or at recitals. but feel free to ask me anything and ill see if i can help.
imo, you should defn stick with it and get good at it. its defn. really tough at first, but once you start getting it, it can become really amazing. i personally like the sound of it more than most instruments out there today.
Southern California - A sunny place for shady people.
'alot' is not a word.
The bass is significantly bigger than a cello and has a much deeper sound. The cello is basically the middle ground between the violin and the bass.

my girlfriend is a cellist, therefore i am in the cellist circle, going to concerts, practices, recitals etc....just like any classical instrument you have to study your balls off...what helps her is videos of her playing.. a good metronome, and good study music sheets..it helps to be able to read music too... and scales.. scales scales... they also make mutes that keep the sound from carrying as far...good luck when you get to studying Popper...
I LL perfection: I shape my own surfboards and have too many skateboards to count. I consider myself a decent guitar player, but I got sick of all my friends coming over to my house and playing it better than myself. So I wanted an instrument not everyone on the earth can play. So the cello just seemed like a logical choice.
Penguin: A couple of stupid questions. How often do I need to apply resin to the bow? Is it normal for resin to built up on the strings and If so should I clean it off the strings? Thanks for any imput.
