    Default Apple reliable? Ha

I'm writing this from my iPod because my effing MacBook had a hard drive failure. It's only a year and a half old. I'm just now realizing how devastating my loses are.

    Lost alll of my pictures.
Lost all of my programs (Photoshop cs4, final cut pro, Rosetta stone... You name it)
but the most devastating was my music library. 30000 songs (only half I care about)

    still under warrenty though
    shit sucks

Use time machine. It's so fracking easy. Seriously you deserve to lose everything if Apple includes a program like time machine and you don't use it.

NewEgg has/had some Toshiba branded 1.5TB externals for ~119. I'll see if I can find that link again. Maybe it was MWave.

I think you missed my point that you were posting from an Apple product and thus Apple is not as unreliable as you made it out to be.

My Ipod Nano used to randomly lock up on me and refuse to change songs until the current song was over. Updated it, same problem. Got on a short Counter Strike kick and fracking I-Tunes would randomly minimize full screen mode to ask if I wanted to update every other day. Oh and when you update Itunes it bundles Quicktime. I really don't know what eats more shit, Quicktime or Internet Explorer. Someone stole my GF's Ipod and I was like frack it, take mine and get me a Zune for X-Mas. I still like the Ipod but the non-touch screen Zune shits on the non-touch screen Ipod. Shit has wifi so I can update my music from the car outside my house and I don't have to bring in my Ipod every day and remember to take it with me every morning. Zune PC player is the real prize though. Unexpected but it dukes on Itunes so hard. Was really weird to get used to at first but now I like it so much more, plus I can take stuff off my Zune and put it on your friends CPU if he has Zune Player and dump my entire music collection or whatever on his computer.

Apple here's a hint BTW, don't ask me to update fracking software that isn't running. Ask me when I turn it on. Itunes is not a fracking OS service pack, it can wait like every other shitty program. Also why is (oops was, delete) Itunes the only <------ONLY program that didn't work right on my windows. Sometimes I'd minimize a window over it and the colors would be all fracked up and shit until I minimized and unminimized the Itunes window again. I mean is that some ploy to make me think Windows is shitty and doesn't work right or is Apple really so stupid that they can't program a fracking Windows app without glitches? I mean I only updated Itunes 30 times in the past year, did I miss that patch? Sorry I needed to say all that stuff but I didn't want to make a new thread. /rant

LOL @ Apple respecting customers and Quicktime is shit. Apple has one of the worst customer service reputations of any company I can think of. Quicktime is shit. If you are Apple and you make some garbage unneeded file type that I need your program to view at least make it work. frack WMV as well but atleast they released the codec and made a 1/2 way decent plugin/player.

Quicktime is an ironic name because it's the slowest fracking video player I've ever used. When a Quicktime video opens in my web browser I make a bitter beer face because Quicktime plugin doesn't know how to expand or change the size of the fracking video in browser. Oh if I want to save the video with a click I need to pay for Quicktime Pro? frack you Quicktime now I have to view the page source, find the video and dl it manually.

    Dear Quicktime,
    Don't be a dick, be a dude.
