    Default getting started

    What is a good way to start skimming waves? I am pretty new to skimboarding and I almost have the pump down so i can make it out to the waves. I ride a medium vic beaker board. any hints or suggestions? Thanks

    the most important thing is to get on your board in 1 or 2 steps (BFF of FFF). just keep practicing to get a smooth transition onto your board (this way you keep your speed). the most important thing is to SKIM WITH OTHER PEOPLE. it will help you improve more than any tips we can give you.

    If you can make it out to the waves........you've got it. The hardest part of skimming is getting out to the waves.

    hah No i think its because your like the all knowing father of skimboarding. With your spoon theory and physical science to back up your responses its hard to say say something that tops what you stated.
