Jetsets 1st Annual Ho-Ho Skim Slam: Dec 19th

Fee: $20 Advance, $25 At Sign-Up

Here's the deal: The Marco Island Marriott is hosting the competition on their property and are giving a special room rate on Friday Dec. 18th for $129 (tell your parents). This is not only a skim competition but a festival as well. The hotel is pretty bad ass and prob one of the nicest I've ever been to. If you guys are interested and are Florida residents you qualify for the deal but its only for that FRIDAY (non-residents $209). If not just show up ready to skim Saturday morning. We should be having a pretty large turn out due to the tourists staying at the hotel and they're always excited to watch 'real' skimboarding. The exposure for our sport will hopefully make up for the lack of prize money in your decision. We will be giving prizes for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd so don't think you're paying for nothing. Overall this should be a fun contest with a good turnout.

Depends where you are in Naples. From Vanderbilt its a 40 minute drive. If you take I-75 to exit 101 its a 20 minute drive.

Now I'm definitely coming with my friends Austin and Dan. If you can get a comp'd room we'll def. pay you back. I'm excited for it, I've never been to Marco before and it sounds like there'll be a hell of a crowd out there!

Just a reminder that the competition scheduled for tomorrow is STILL ON. The Marriott has canceled their schedule of events, however are still holding the skim competition on their property. When arriving to the resort to park tell the parking attendant that you are here for the competition so you are only charged a $5 fee. The surf report is scheduled for head high conditions so bring your surfboard for in between heats. We are pumped to see everyone tomorrow!!

Probley not, it is the gulf after all and only certain spots hold a big swell, or wind swell, also its suppose to be cold as hell. Im not trying to be negative but burrrrrrr!!!
