Carpet skimming

Has anyone tried making a little quater pipe that has carpet going up it like a treadmill and using it kinda like a wave? Me and my dad are trying to think of ideas to how it could work

Oh, i see what you're saying now. That sounds super complicated, and would probably be really hard to build. I think it would work better if you have it like those things thy have on cruise ships. I don' even think either of those will work with carpet.

All this talk of carpet and water makes me want to build a backyard ski setup.

i dont think it be that hard if you had the copping of the quater pipe spinning but somehow the carpet would have to stick to it without slipping. I think itd be really fun if it was possible

you wouldn't be able to turn on carpet, your rails wouldn't be able to dig in enough.

Hahahaha, oh my god, that would be horrible. I wasn't even thinking turning, I was just thinking of going straight. That wouldn't be very fun though
