The 15th street pier at the ocean front is probably your safest bet.

There's been waves since the Nor easter so you might be in luck.

is anything working after that storm? i figured the beaches would be leveled flat after all that erosion. im coming home friday and ill be home all week so im definitely trying to skim a few days.

so ill be out if weathers good. probably go to pier first and skate around until i find something.

as far what tides good normally mid tide coming in is the safest bet. but i havent been around vb in over a month so i have no idea whats workign now.

tru that thats what i was thinking...im jus tryna get in the water. lookin at the croatan cam. doesnt look like the beach is too flat but u never know

i might be out there some this weekend. wish i could get out tomorrow, it looks like the best day but i dont be getting back in town until 5 or 6.

beginning of next week looks hawt though, stoked.

I'll be at William and Mary this weekend, but overall the shore break has been pretty good at high tide. There isn't much of a slope at the market, and I'm assuming the same probably for most of VB. Normally there are a few people out at the pier if it's a good day.

Waves were so sick outside today, if you didn't go out, you missed some fun stuff.

And what happened to Z.B. Rider?

Awe damn. I'm getting really amped tho. And yeahh I was just about to ask... Doesn't zbr skim by the pier? I just got back on somb recently and haven't seen him. I almost miss him

he doesnt skim as much in the winter and he normally skims with me up around the north end in the summer.

I was down by 48th and it was pretty much flat. So I went around and went towards 68th, not bad. I haven't seen the pier yet but I'm going to try and def. get down there this coming week. The water has been pretty choppy this past week but according to the forecasts, we're expecting it to glass out a lil bit better. So I might see you guys down there if I'm free.

A guy name Shawn, had a purple Apex board. It was about a month back. Then this other guy I ran into this month. I think he had a black n yellow Victoria board. Didn't catch the name though.

I saw that Yellow and black vicotria down by the pier Saturday morning. The skim was kinda choppy that day but the liners were still fun.

Hows the pier looking like? Cause last time I was down by the ocean front, that hurricane made everything flat n crap. I haven't taken the time to check the whole beach out, but I was down on the North End and found "okay" spots. But it just seems like the area just got leveled out after the storm. Plus, the waters been frackin' choppy and I suck ass at water droppin'. The waters are supposed to glass out by after thanks giving but I have to work

The pier was actually a beautiful slope! It was just me and my girlfriend there Sunday morning so there probably aren't many people going there on a regular basis but people should. It wasn't even too cold if you have a wet suit. Hah and yeah a water drop does help around the pier because of all the choppy waves in between the good ones. Damn it is? i wish i was going there for thanksgiving but its in NC this time for me.

i havent skimmed since summer, and i only skimmed once the whole effing summer. I think i might check out croatan tomorrow morning if the rain or weather isnt too bad

Imma try and get there Friday IF i can. I work at 5 in the morning till 1. So hopefully if the sun is still high or whatnot, I do plan on getting there if I get a chance .I havent been down the pier since August.

My board is officially M.I.A.

I was down on 48th and did some skimmin' about an hour ago. It was nice, flat, great for hitten liners. Though, in the process my board gets swepped off my feet and ends up about 6 feet away from me. I'm not the greatest swimmer and the water was cutting pretty deep. I had no choice to watch it flow off into the atlantic. I was praying someone with a surfboard was near by to come grab it for me but no luck.. Im very sad. I've had my Square Kevlar for less than a month and now it's gone.

and no but there was some chick skimming today and she was halfway decent. no idea who she was though.

Luff, that wasn't you I saw by the pier was it? I was down there with a Green Zap board.
