Has anyone been watching this on the History Channel? Leonardo da Vinci is a pure genius... it's so crazy. It sucks that there really isnt anyone like him anymore, or there might be but society labels them as 'a crazy person.'

da vinci was a genius, but the history channel makes a conspiracy out of everyhting. nostadamus effect is complete bullshit. we have people like him today, they're called scientists and engineers. da vinci was way ahead of his time, but we live in a society now where everyhting is so complex it's pretty much impossible for something truly revolutionary to come from 1 person.

this morning i actually considered to watch that documentary on History Channel on the last book of nostradamus because he predicts apocalypse in 2012, and in fact the maya´s actually also predected the end of the kalender in december 2012, because the position of the sun will align with the hole in the milkyway.
so i figured it be interesting to see why he predicted the end in 2012..

i know we have engineers and scientists and all that today. but da vinci did everything, and was good at it. art, engineering, w/e. he wrote all of his ideas backwards so you can only read them through a mirror. i kinda wish we still had explorations and stuff, like finding a new continent or w/e, not space exploration or deep sea.

i turn 21 on dec 20, 2012 so at least ill be able to dull the pain of the end of the world.

and sometimes i wonder about how old geniuses compare to the geniuses of today, and i think that the difference is only that todays geniuses discover things so abstract that we dont understand them enough to realize how brilliant the discoveries are.
