If youre going to do it, I'd put the pads on first and then tape them off when you paint. Then you don't have to worry about if theyll stick or not.
The paint wont do anything to your board except add a little weight (no more than waxing your board, probably less). Lightly sand the board first and clean with alcohol. The paint will probably eventually start to come off, but it will look good when you first do it.

It will scratch off.....and after awhile it will look like hell. If you wax over it, it will last longer too. But you can just wet sand it off and repaint it. DO NOT do the bottom though.......it will look good for about one ride.=(

i used spray paint on my board, like they said sand it and then paint it. After that i put two coats of high gloss clear coat over it and it has protected the paint really well. I talked to Roush before doing mine and he told me he uses the same process for his custom boards.

i probobly would if it was 3/4 blake tyre pro model. theres just no fracking way im settling for a board that i dont really want. god its happened to me so many fracking times already i just want a board that i really fracking want. (exile proshape 5/8 domke rocker textured prob like purp and green or purp and white with green bottom, or apex blake tyre carbon apex 3/4 51 or 52 most likely same colors, syndrome used)

Dose not work never try its a waste of paint never do that and don't listen to teddy about putting the pads on first it works sooooooo much better if you put them on after or even when the paints wet, wet like a ......
