^Thanks! Definitely let me know when you're thinking of coming up and I'll let you know, based on conditions, if it's worth your while to make the trek. Bodega is a pretty fickle place this time of year. Too many big swells, like these pics below, that constantly move the sand around. Gotta hit it up in between swells when things are mellower and the sand has a chance to shape up.

Deebo what's a good, consistent San Francisco spot? Is there ever shorebreak at Ocean Beach or anywhere near there?

good and consistent does not register in san francisco. OB is good once in a blue moon. Baker has stretches of being good only to be washed out over night and turn out horrible for a month. i have never skimmed china beach good in 4+ years. All depends on the W, swell, and wether or not there is sand in a particular location or not. My usual spot check goes baker, gray whale, montara, miramar, states. That order can change depending on the conditions though.

thanks Selva. might be movin to SF so I wanna be in the know as much as possible. Last time I was at Montara it was way too troughy, but it does seem to get good rep. I need to scope those other spots too though
