Default New pad over an old one! Help!

Hey guys its about that time that a part of my pads are coming off and want to put down a new one. The only problem is the sand is stuck to the excess glue from my old pads and I can't seem to get it all off. I've tried sanding it but it still doesn't all come off. If it means anything my bored is textured. Any suggestions?
    Thanks for the help.

If you use a oil base remover, you need to use something to get the oil off. I like to use rubbing alcohol or acetone. Just be careful......acetone is super flammable.

don't use acetone. it might frack up your board's color. rubbing alcohol should do it.
