Sort of push it down instead of just letting it go.

Yeah, I thought as soon as I got the exile I was gonna do good. PRetty much the opposite once I get on the board I can ride way better than my zap, but just the throw is hard to get used to now its almost like starting skimboarding all over!!! I guess it will just take a few sessions. Im also trying to practice no-stepping which is a pain.

Hmm, but then that would leave you no place to stand.

    Think out your solutions first.

yeah, i hate using sand, it just makees me feel dependant or something, I just do a no-step and angle it so that the wind blows it down not up.

No-stepping is just hard for me I guess. I have to practice it.

Well, today when I went skimming.. I did nothing but get my drop and timing down to no step must have been 20-30 times in a row and now I can no step running pretty much full speed. Just gotta get the walking onto the board a little bit better instead of jumping. I am also getting on it from the back and not the side so I am losing no speed as apposed to getting on the board from the side and losing speed. I know you guys are probably like wow this kid is a d00f. Just exciting to me hah

I went from a Zap pro to an exile and it took me abour three sessions to get used to it. You'll just have to adjust and slowly get used to it.
