seconded. Cramikskim's WM has perfected the act of planing out. I've seen a lot of pros go way deep, but none of them can compare to Potter. He'll catch waves Beaker would have to tow in to. His strength is acceleration, after three or four steps he's already at top speed.
Another candidate no one mentioned is Jay Mariani. His complete disregard for the conventional step drop gives him some incredibly light footwork. I saw him catch some impossible ones at 26th street in SC.
