haha it's all good. That pic's not from this morning, this morning the surf was waist to chest and glassy, which meant it was virtually unskimmable. I stuck my board in the sand, green side towards the boardwalk so you'd see it if you came, and went surfing. It's probably good, I need the practice surfing anyway. I am disappoint in my loss of surfing ability.

what the frack is up w/ the beaches right now? So frustrating. Hopefully when this swell calms down some spots will emerge and it will be noice for tomorrow aft. or thurs morning.

BTW bart i looked for the Space station a week or so ago when it was supposed to be within view over here. I couldnt see it. It was supposed to cross the sky within a minute, and it was right at dusk. I was pissed.

if it was only in the sky for a minute, it was probably really low on the horizon. the timings on the websites are usually very accurate (within a minute or so IME), but you have to pay attention to the direction and altitude given. 90 degrees altitude is straight up over your head, 0 degrees is at the horizon. then, direction (azimuth) is also given (north = 0 degrees, south = 180 degrees, etc)

if you want to see something special, make an effort to see this pass next wednesday. it will be VERY bright.
