BBP POD omg yay

Well I just kicked my last final in the nuts, so I'm officially on summer! Figured a good way to kick this thing off is with a little POD action. As many of you know, Broken Body Photography is the little bit of skimboard documenting I've been doing here in Santa Cruz for the past two years during the time my body has been mangled. (In that time I've put a bone through my achilles tendon [which has taken two surgeries so far to get right], crushed a bone in my other foot, blown out the cartilage in both my knees, and got a concussion so bad I couldn't even walk for two weeks.) After all that it seems like I'd have time to get some better pictures but...
In any case, it's been a blessing to be able to get out in the sand, meet people, and see them get stoked on pictures.

For those that will ask, NO these pictures won't be taken the same day I post them. Obviously if I got pictures from somewhere that's firing it at the time I'm not going to go ratting it to the whole internet. Also I don't get good pictures every day. Not even close.

One rule before we get started: NO BITCHING! Seems like everybody in Santa Cruz has sand in their vagina about somebody else, but Skim Online isn't the place to take that out. Go to the beach and work it out.

Anyway, on with the pics. COME AWN!

Okay this is day two-y enough for me.
Been wanting to put a thing like this next series together for a while. Cameron's an explosive skimmer and his backside airs are very eye catching. I've got a computer full of pictures of them. Wanted to line them up together and get a look at the difference in amplitude and tech that's been going on since this circus started. Some you've seen, some never released.
This also removes the temptation for me to burn too many days showing you the same air.

So is that first shot from Monterey at Carmel River? I havent seen that place go off like that in a long long time... its usually like a lake or like a vortex of death. Good to see a shot of Monterey, lots of people don't realize how good it can get here sometimes

Just got home from SLO with only seconds left to post pictures and still have them count for today. Super sick contest, thanks Lana and all the sponsors for making it happen. Met lots of cool people and had a fun time. Hopefully have pictures up soon.
