I still find this puzzling. Skimboarding is the only boardsport that doesn't pay for photographs yet is the most restrictive on where those photos should be used. Look at any surf, skate, or snowboard site and the pics you see are shots to be proud of and not B & C shots.

I'm sorry did I miss something?I comented on his level of commitment(very severe) not anything more.Sorry I don't ride "pipe" everyday to know this is common practice.I can only go by what I've seen in video ie BILL BRYAN GEORGE BRYAN and others didn't notice the extreme past center front foot stance by them

If youre reg. footed and backside at the wedge... you have to put your foot more on the inside of the board if you want to stand up in a wave like that. What im saying is he's putting more pressure on his inside rail when hes doing that, it keeps you locked in without needing to bend down and grab your rail.
