Novice advice.
make the skimming go to the beat of music, hard to explain but ill try. if theres a really quiet part in the beginning of a song use a time lapse, or something funny. and then as there is a big beat hit or something have a person spraying or something then use the song as a guideline for where clips go. use effects that go with beat also not just random ones that look cool.
