Feeler: Paulo Prietto skim camp July 13-17 Cape Cod Mass

Every year we run a skim contest in cape cod mass. while out in California, i had a conversation with paulo about coming out this year, and his sentiments were he would like to run a camp if he were to come out here. what I'm looking for is people interested in attending this camp. i know i can get him the clientèle he needs to make it a success, but i would love to see some good skimboarders attend to just better their technique and bring skimming in our area to the next level. i'm really trying for big things this year guys, and i need all the support i can get.

to add to that, i'm looking at renting a house for that week, which would be able to be used by people trying to attend the camp. 18+ please, and there would be a fee to stay there for the week, but way less than what you would pay at any hotel or the like. im really excited about this guys, i've also been working on big things for the contest this year, and this would be a great transition to that.

I'm sure we'll be able to get a great showing for Paulo. Cape Cod will be teeming with tons of stoked up groms during the summer. The Cape has kind of an underrated scene and I'm sure this will attract a good amount of the RI crew too (being probably the largest skim crew in NE). Maybe I'll get some tips on actually getting a solid one step haha. Good work Josh and look forward to it. Thanks for keeping the NE in mind

This would really be a great thing, I would probably even come home just for the week to see everyone and be back with the crew. One request start doing wave prayers and summons now for that week i want something better than the standard knee to thigh.

jimmy calm down, the cape isnt great skimming and i know you like to keep it to yourself just because thats what you like about it is the emptiness but this is bigger this is about progessing the sport and helping it to grow in all areas

and no its probably about 5 hours from NYC give or take 30mins, worth it if there is gonna be a gathering

just do it anyway if one person from your area shows initiative and makes up their mind to go regardless then everybody in the area will end up being like ah yeah me too man because thats what humans do

I agree, the more the merrier. The Cape is a great place and pretty unique in my mind. It'll be great to show everyone what a nice place it is and the great skim it can (potentially!) get.

oh give me a break. sand doesn't exist on the cape. especially on nauset. its just rocks and seals.

I don't think yer right. We all just skimmed lecounts. And as for coastguard I know for a fact it was rocky as shit last summer. But I did see a fun looking liner. Either way I'm just messin with ya.

And I like to hear that about salisbury...where the REAL skim is...just kidding...but really

The only rocks I see on cape are at dead low tide or on rt. 28 in crackwhores pipes... and lecounts has been shitty, liners dead from all i can tell. i've been starting in wellfleet and driving south inevitably ending up at coastguard or nauset.

I'm flying into Boston for a wedding. The wedding takes place on the 12th, so depending on how long we stay after it I'd show up. Either way I'd love to skim with some people before the wedding. I'll keep Mass people informed whenever I get details.
