I'll be staying here for one week. Can any one tell me if there is any shore break at their beach? This is about 15 minutes south of Solmar.
Any help will be appreciated.

Well, it's 10bucs fr the water taxi, and I heard the guards at solmar are pricks unless you're staying there. So. I may be able to go twice, if it's not too big. But I want some where close to where I'll be for daily sessions. Besides, I'm going with a bunch of people that don't skim, so I don't want to "ruin the vibe".

yes there is sometimes really good shorebreak there (no sider) and I've never had a problem going through Solmar when I wasn't staying there. One time I did have to leave my Costco card (they just wanted one form of ID from one person of our group) at the front gate until we came back through. It's against the law for them to deny you access to the beach.

BTW-Park in the lot directly accross from the road where you turn right to go to Solmar. It's only 50 pesos an hour and is right on the Marina for the rest of the group that might want to spend a few hours shopping.
