It's today. Somehow they got the idea that I was turning 30, not 29. They bought all this over the hill stuff and black balloons. Yesterday somebody mentioned me turning 30 and I said no I'm turning 29, and I saw them all scrambling to try to figure out what to do w/ all the 30 shit they bought. They ended up putting it all up anyway. It's pretty funny, I have black balloons and over the hill streamers all around my desk. And that thing behind me is a giant blowup vulture sitting on a gravestone that says "Over the Hill". The purpose of the pic is to show off the awesome braided hairdo the sista at work gave me.

I turn 30 this year--not looking forward to it!!(Grandmasters division next year)

Not trying to bandwagon, but I said the same. Hence the reason I'm jumpin on the p90x program then switching over to your fitness site Whit.

Yeah that's a good idea. Just pick up as much knowledge as you can from those programs so that you can make up your own workouts based on what you need to train. That's what I do these days, I've built up a "library" of so many exercises that I can vary it constantly, it gives great results and it's fun to make up new ones and see what works and what doesn't. As of right now I'm not quite in my best shape ever but I'm pretty close. I just need to keep it up for the next year.

Hahaha, yeah, I was kind of chuckling when I wrote that - the MIL calls pants 'slacks' and shirts 'jerseys'.

The greatest thing was when we were headed up to the old city and I had on jeans and flops and a white shirt - I'm talking like a plain-ish TommyB , not tucked, and she said "OMG, DT is all dressed up I need to go change", ahahahah, white shirt = dressed up!
