    i suck at sleeping

    im tired as shit, ive been laying in bed for at least an hour and a half and i havent even started to doze off or get sleepy at all, in fact i keep getting more restless and frustrated as i get more tired, making it even harder to fall asleep and even more frustrating, i dont expect to get any replies tonight, but this is a recurring problem, so does anyone have any tips or things they do to help them crash?

    .....other then drinking warm milk or smoking weed, i hate warm milk with a passion and i just quit the herbs (which is probably half the reason i cant sleep)

    i'm workin on 24 - 26 hours or so awake. kris and i just went skimming. when you're tired enough to sleep, trust me, you will.

    quitting weed, if you smoke a decent amount quitting will frack with your sleep, although it is one of the best things in the world (in my opinion) to help ya sleep.. but as for the warm milk, make hot coco or tea with some warm milk and its tasty and warm milk with out the idea of just warm milk (cause straight warm milk is gross)... if that fails just don't think about sleep... even though thats hard

    sleeping pills? booze? i dont use either one. my sleeping schedule sucks bad. i work graveyard shift. only so i can skim during the day when ever i want. when i go home from work i norm sleep for like 3hrs or i just dont sleep at all and go skim. then i goto sleep a few hours before work. it sucks. i have dark circles around my eyes right now and im only 19yrs old. oh well. i sometimes listen to like jack johnson, death cab for cutie, the umbrellas, lyndsay diaries and dashboard confessional to help me sleep.

    Dont wake up so late in the day, cut back on Mountain Dew, or Coke, or Chocolate early in the evening... Watch some baseball, or discovery channel. RELAX, when you keep thinking about tommorow, its hard to sleep that night, and dont think about sleeping.

    Every now and then I get pissed at myself because I can't sleep, and its usually because I have a big Stats test, or something important the next day.

    I literally sat in bed and cussed myself for about 10 mins, then I was like "you know what, frack sleep, I dont care anymore if I fall asleep, then after 5 mins I was out....

    i used to fall asleep to music all the time back in the day, it never works for me anymore, i also used to just read until i couldnt keep my eyes open which worked, but last night i had already been reading for awhile before i even tried to sleep

    im just gonna make sure i have a 6 pack of fat tire around tonight and get a couple of those in me before i crash, and the hot shower/bust a nut idea sounds like a good one

    close your eyes and focus on seeing what is on the back of your eyelids. when you feel your mind wander catch yourself and start focusing seeing the back of your eyelids again. if you're tired there's no way you can do that for more than 15 minutes without dozing off. you just have to make sure you don't forget what you're doing and let you mind wander and think about everything else.

    just watch a skim dvd or play some xbox if you can't sleep, after some time you'll be tired enough to fall asleep.

    watching a skim dvd before bed would kill me, id never get to sleep, ive barely skimmed at all in the past couple of months because ive been broke and havent been able to get out to the beach, and my friends keep going to santa cruz with full cars or without telling me, or they go all the way to the city to go to a cannabis club and then leave immediately, the bastards
