It is a series of skim competitions in Virginia Beach. Mitchell points will be kept for all the comps. Come on out there is also going to be a sand soccer tournament that weekend so there should be plenty to do.

i don't want to make a fool of myself again..

i felt like so bad that i just stood there and didnt even try.. but i was mad.. i mean,.. sucky waves.. going against boys.. a like 8 year old..
other problems.. i was very bummed.. but i will def. come to hang out and skim with everyone

dont be a sissy, come out and skim anyway, you would have won if you actually tried.

KrisStone, the event is part of our own circuit the VB Skim series, though theres probobly gonna be contests in NC too. Its sponsered by Sik Stik Skimboards, SlickIndustries, SkimCentral, and CoastelEdge. The last contest ran really smooth thanks to skimdaddys superb leadership, lol superb is a funny word.

Don't feel bad. You did just fine. 2 years ago I was competing against kids, Alex, Jeffrey and I think it was a 7yr old John J kicked my behind at every competition. Try to find some girls and let me know so we can open up another division.

Sign ups will be on the beach starting at 9am at the 15th street pier. We're gonna try to start the heats at 9:30. It'll be $10 to enter, and $5 extra to enter the open division if we get enough people. Come out dude the last one was fun and I think we might have some good weather.

well looks like i can't make it after all.. my mom isnt coming untill about 11 tomorrow.. but i will still be skimming at the peir though..mom's been working 16 hours a day.. she is tired.. sorry and good luck to all.. skim hard

what were the waves like? I wasn't able to make it unfortunately, but I just got back from croatan and it was the biggest (clean) shorebreak I've seen this year. Not really any liners, just closeout wraps, but it was a lot of fun to get pounded a little. It was an especially great session for me b/c it finally clicked. It's the first time I've ever hit a frontside wave and felt like I knew what I was doing. And it only took 15 years!
