Is there any skim in or around clearwater. I am going with a bunch of people and I want to get some skim in, cause sitting on the sand all day is boring.

sand key right across the inlet from clearwater gets good sometimes--but clearwater is lame

there is a spot south of sand key park called sand bags its a public acces beach by the ultimar hotel on gulf blvd there is a sidewalk that takes you right there

Yea, Thanks guys, s anyone gonna be skimmin Clearwater this weekend? I'll be there probably around 1PM. Coming from Orlando.

they dont they all have suits, you probably wont see them because they walk around downtown and the bridge doesnt go threw downtown anymore

Sand key, IRB or treasure island would be your best bets. You can just go to Sand key near the inlet then IRB then keep heading south to TI.

yea treasure island is the shit. 124th street is sick. you should def go over there. only 20 min from clearwater.

what time is everyone meeting up ?
I am leaving Orlando with about fifteen people around 10:30. And I drive pretty fast so I should be at Clearwater IRB in about two hours, or less. But the problem is High Tide is at 9:40 AM so that means I'll get there at receding tide I suppose. But I am the only skimmer, everyone else is just posers, but at least the girls are cute!!! My phone has internet so I'll update via messageboard.

Did anyone skim the clearwater area today? The gulfster pics looked fun, definately nothing big but fun.
The gulfster picture is normally around the st. pete/ treasure island area i beleive. But i skimmed indian rocks today and it was pretty fun...knee high lines.
Yeah I know the pics are normally taken around there, that's why I was asking. I think it was treasure island becasue they had a picture of the machines for the renourishment.
ill try to go sunday aswell. ill be in clearwater or indian rocks saturday around 1 until dark.
I'll be there on saturday. Hope to see womeone there. I will have a Zap large wedge, blue, with a blue Z logo.
