    I have everything I need but the rope what kind of bungee rope do i need and how thick? does anyone know?

    call up a spearfishing shop. its made of the same stuff as speargun bands. but to me sounds like a pain in the ass and isnt worth the effort. plus, personally, i think bungees are a waste.

    I have made a bungee that worked awesomly. I cost me about $150. Go on ebay and get 2 (100 yard) rolls of 5/8 in thick bungee. Fold the pieces into 4 (50 yrd) pieces. Tie them together at the folded ends. Then I used a type of square knot to braid the together. (this takes ALOT of time.) good luck

    be careful though. there was a guy on here before who got messed up by his bungee when the anchor came loose. i'd think the chance of injury would increase with homemade bungees.

    haha mines almost completed. went to west marine and bought 25ft of bungee rope. doubled it up and finished the ski ropes tonight. still waiting for the anchor. ill post pics of the results. Cost:20$ ($.99 per ft of cord)
