Seen it before. Its not the fact that they're killing them for fur, its the fact that they die such shitty deaths that bothers me, and most people I guess.

But.... you kinda have to pick and choose with this kinda stuff, does it mean that all of China is doing fur like this? No. They might be, but its just like anywhere else, if you go looking for the shittiest conditions possible, you can find them.

Additionally, I think you have to pick and choose becuase this kinda stuff can apply to anything dealing with living things. Some of the things that come to mind the most:

Shrimping Boats: Most people knew that they killed a lot of unnecessary fish/creatures by trawling the bottom and picking up everything that was there. But it bothered me most when Mike Rowe went on a shrimp boat for Dirty Jobs. I mean they were pulling up shit loads of stuff they didnt need (stingrays, crabs, smaller fish [and not just shitty bait fish either], and they say they throw them back. But by the time they sort through that stuff the fish/creatures are either dead, or too tired to swim away from predators by the time they get thrown over the side. Its actually become a usual occurence for people to catch tuna and cobia from behind shrimp boats becuase of all the stuff they throw over that the fish eat.

And don't get me started on long line fishing, and shark nets.

So really I say its a toss up, between saving dogs, rabbits, etc. Or saving the dolphins, the marine life on the seafloor, or even Elephants in Africa, or Great Whites even.

The way I see it, humans in general are responsible for the death of millions of animals annually.

Every new subdivision that gets put in in a city or town pushes animals into a smaller habitat.
Every time we eat meat animals die at our expense. Those death aren't always humane.
Many of the times we chop down trees for paper, skimboards, skateboards, anything else that uses wood, animals homes are destroyed.

It's all the same to me and unfortunately there is no real way around it.

Unless you're vegan, you're contributing to the inhumane treatment of animals as well.

you should start hating more people because turns out us so called "innocent" human beings are responsible for global warming which could lead to the death of our planet.

Not even vegans are exonerated from the "inhumane treatment of animals." Millions of field mice, rats, rabbits, raccoons, opossums, and snakes are killed every year by the combines used to harvest the fruit and vegetable staples of the vegan diet. Many of these deaths are just as, if not more, brutal than the ones seen in the Chinese fur trade.

There really is no way to sustain the human population and avoid unnecessary animal death at the same time. The people who somehow think they have the moral high ground by not eating meat are fracking idiots. I can understand someone who does it for religious or health reasons, but "moral" reasons are about as pretentious as one can get.

Yea, thats exactly what I mean. There's so many ways you can look at it that its rediculous.

I'm kinda thinking/hoping that whats gone on with the economy, oil, and global warming talk, that people are going to take mother nature into account more in what they do. I mean with everyone looking towards wind and solar power, and all this "going green" talk, I think people would start to be a little more concerned, or atleast interested in whats going on around them, rather than the 9-5 work, sleep, eat, and shit.

Of course the new generation of kids seemed to be getting more and more fracked by everything thats going on in the world today, but I think people are either going to get more in touch with this kinda shit voluntarily, or we're gonna get scared/forced into having to take into account our actions, and its effects on everything around us.

P.s. I don't know where this is coming from, perhaps I should have directed this energy towards my 50 page research paper on the Status of The Caribbean Spiny Lobster Population in The Bahamas that is due at the end of Nov.

the softness of the fur makes the coat unreal, its ssoooooooooo worth the price , on a cold wintery day theres nothing like putting on a 100% genuine fur coat, and if you have the chance get 2 ( i prefer the mink )
