It does (or did) break right, but it was also in Africa and broke absurdly long. Thats my guess. But being goofy foot, I'm more inclined to think this left is perfection.

Long boarders try this......I'm goofy foot and when I go right (back side) I found out after I do my bottom turn I can take one step forward and stand reg foot. I can only do small turns this way, but you can get in the tube better. And when I want to do a cutback I take one step back to (goofy foot). Try it next time out, this only works when I ride my long board, I can't do it on my short board.
