Frack you Wadds. NYs allotment of nugget nectar is being transported north on the back of slugs.

How much did it come out to? I plan on picking up a case as well.

I don't even think I paid attention to what it cost - maybe like $42.

Nugget was behind schedule this year on account of Troegs moving their brewery to Hershey.

Tried this drink the other night, I only remember the name and where its from. Its called Strongbow and I believe its English. Tasted like apple cider.
I honestly haven't googled it yet, rather just get some of your opinions on the drink.

Dude, I just turned 21 this weekend, I was drinking whatever was in my hand lol.
I was able to get away with buying beer at Publix before, but the best shit they usually get is New Castle and Hoegaarden (aside from Sam Adams but I drink that too often).
I think one of my favorite beers is a Murphy's Stout.

By chance you might have had it under its former name- patio tools...which I never understood.

I have yet to have it but almost did last time I was at the tasting room.

I'm really excited over this trade. I've come along way since Dan and I first started trading. Dan sent me a bottle of Ballast Point's Victory at Sea last year around this time, and I drain poured half of the bottle; my palate could not handle big porters and stouts. Since then I have become accustom to them, and they hold a special place in my heart right next to Imperial IPAs. That should be a really interesting revisit.

The highlight hear is definitely the Black Tuesday - Bourbon barrel aged imperial stout at 18.3% ABV. Thats going to be one toasty night.

Thanks Dan you fracking cry baby.

Last night at went to Gainesville House of Beers. Rotate 40 taps and have a decent bottle list.

Had a bottle of Hopslam- amazing.
Then CCB Hillsborough River Dry Stout- great, but had to rush to drink it to make it to dinner a few blocks down...got called off the wait list at the worst time.
Then Stone Sublimely Self Righteous- just couldnt wait on the bomber in my fridge! had to try it at the bar...was delicious.

anddd the big kicker- they got 2 kegs of Hopslam and still have one left and are sitting on it...looking forward to seeing how it is out of the keg if I can get my hands on it.

Enjoying a Lagunitas Cap Stout right now...YUM.

It's not that it isn't an option. It's deciding whether you want a carby frother or slightly carbed dank brew. What was your OG and FG, final volume and amount of priming sugar?

    3oz priming sugar.

Final FG was 1.20. Not sure about OG as i. Didn't take one since it was a pre designed kit from Williams Brewery...

Yazoo and sexual chocolate are intriguing, so far old rasputin is really the only imperial stout I really have liked. Brooklyn black chocolate stout was too much sweet and malty. Disappointing from a brewer that I usually can depend on for safe bets.

Went to a bottle shop I normally don't frequent that often (as in I may have been there twice in the last 5 years) but they have a whole vintage section of brews. They had a 2007 Abbaye de Saint Bon-Chien Attachment 4665 which I didn't buy, but now that I looked it up and see that it received pretty high reviews, I might snag it... They also had some vintage Grand Cru. I did pick up a My Antonia from Italy 92-my_antonia_label.jpg with the black and yellow label. I didn't care for the American My Antonia too much, but I hadn't seen the Italian version before, so I thought I would give it a whirl... Also grabbed a Brother Thelonious after seeing someone else having it posted here before, and a DFH Pearl Jam... Grabbed a couple others that were no stand outs... Cool little place. If anyone is in the area it is called Lukens...
