    Default Sol Pin vs. Foamie

    my brother is looking to buy a board under $175 and its come down to either a sol pin or a foamie. he weighs like 100 or so. i suggested sol but he wanted to hear it from other people also.thx.

    the pin is made out of s glass i think so go with the pin

    ya. a lg. is s-glass but does anybody no if a medium is. he's like gunna be between sizes when he gets his next board.

    sol doesnt have a website...yet. i think pins are regular fiber glass unless it says so, like a "texilium wrap" or something.

    a large pin is s-glass, but skimshop says nothing about materials on a medium pin.

    All pins are s glass. It's a good starter board. I know nothing about vics.

    i'd go with the pin cause i'm pretty sure a sols are s glass except like the rocket

    thankyou. i'm glad everybody says sol, cept for Iwantazap(he's crazy for zaps), cuz sol makes really tight boards. now the question is pads. i run xtraks and like them, but supposedly beakers are better. opinions plz.

    i run on xtrak 2, but i'd really consider the beaker

    I have the Beaker set up and I love it. It's softer than X-Trak I believe. It's awesome. Good coverage too.
