We tried dog whisperer techniques on my friends exgf when she acted up, didn't work out as well.

I love the dog whisperer. There's another show with a balding ass hat who come in and yells at people. He's a dick. Caesar and his wacky inline skates are where it's at.

    Tsssst! Calm and assertive.

I read his first book and applied it to my dogs and it works pretty well. The main thing is mass amounts of exercise for high energy dogs (mine), then every thing else is easy.

I love reading reviews for his book, they're usually along the lines of "This book is horrible, there's not one thing about training a dog in here" blah blah blah. The book is more for training yourself than the dog, it's all about dog physcology and you just have to learn how to apply it in your own situations.

Any ways, yeah, Dog Whisperer is an awesome show. I'm also a big fan of the show with the British chick, I have picked up some great stuff from her show.

yeah she is ok......but Ceasar is 10x times more badass. You dont see that british chick dealing with the crazy agro dogs and getting all beat up.

btw- Did you guys see the german sheperd that was guarding the church. I thought caeser was going to get mauled.

That's why I like her show, it applies more to my dogs, which are just hyper and not agro at all.

I like watching Ceaser b/c of stuff like that German sheppard at the Church. How about the bulldog he tied to a tree and kept taunting in with a skateboard til it finally gave up on attacking skateboards, lol. I hate how animal extremists people try to say he is abusive to dogs, that's bs. He treats dogs like dogs treat dogs. If a dog in a pack acts up it faces the consequences...people need to realize while dogs are living creatures they ARE NOT humans.

I like that he teaches that ever important lesson. Agro dogs are the result of poeple treating dogs like humans.

in his book he talks about how you can apply some of the principles of raising/training a dog to raising/training children. I have found that to be absolutely true.

    +1000

Yeah frack those people who say that. If a dog tries to bite me i have every right to punch that dog in the throat. He never is aggresive toward a dog unless the dog is aggresive first. People are so stupid about their dogs. Dressing them up like kids and talking to them like they understand english.

My dumbass exgf is still pissed about me back handing her little maltese when it tried to jump up on my couch. I loved her dog to death too.......but had to lay down law on her. pimp law.

Ceasar is just goofy, the guy has me crackin up because he's such a nerd sometimes. Then his accent cracks me up too. "You ha to be pack leadur!" "Calm, assurta enerje."

Cool show though. Patti LaBelle's dog was fracking badass looking. (show last night)

yeah.....i love when he impersonates the dogs. When he barks and acts like a little dog or something......shit is hilarious.

he really is amazing. He reads the dogs body language and actions so well. He knows when they are going to act up before they even do it........and thats when he gives them a heal kick to the ribs....haha

I love how he comes in and puts owners in their place when they try to blame the breed.

The whole hating on certain breeds is crap. His best dog is Redmans pit bull "Daddy". I mean, certain breeds are more proan to being aggressive in the hands of undertrained or just poor owners, but almost every dog is re-trainable as he has shown.

    lolz

seriously though, i know it's not the fault of the dog for being a pitt bull, but I see no desirable qualities in owning a dog like that. Everything that it does, a lab or something does better. They are bred with a specific intent. I have no problem with people owning them, i just don't see the point. I think Caesar makes a good point by owning one (Daddy), but they aren't for me.

As for "Daddy" that's not Ceasers dog, it's Redmans dog that Ceaser dogsits.

A pitbull can eat a human baby in half the time of some wussy ass lab.

Whatever, I've never heard of a Pitbull eating a woman's face off. Labradors do it all the time.
