It was sick today, I had a lot of fun.

EDIT: That sick was not describing the waves.

true that mike, the waves were getting better as the day progressed, but only righ next to the pier so everyone was kinda taking turns at runs towards the pier. On the left there had to be atleast 100 latino people that acted like a moving jetty.

All in all it was a sick contest none the less and that BBQ.......wow.

Results were in the paper today, I didn't get last as I expected I had. Haha, sick.

Oh yea, does anyone know what the site is with pictures that were being taken? I know there was a site announced, but I can't remember what it was.

not to take away from the fact that perry and jarret rip balls, but they are tiny as shit meaning it takes no effort for them to ride waves, it doesnt take much to push a 60 pound little kid... Sick contest thanks again skimdaddy and skimmommy...who needs to stop callling me a whore..j/k

He took most of the pictures from the pier, so he was looking down. Good angle I think.

a great angle. I LOVE when surf videos capture the surfing from this angle. It helps me alot. You can relaly see how they are riding it, insted of just going up and down....

This is Will Porter. Just to let everyone know. I dislocated my wrist, tearing some ligaments and I have some minor fractures. Pretty much sucks. It is definetly good to be in the Navy for times like this.

As far as the comp I had fun and it was a good day despite the waves. Everyone was having fun, I was sad to have to leave.

I am dissapointed that the guy that placed first in open was also in begginers and I think the two best riders of the day were Perry and Parker, maybe it is time to move up. Maybe there should be a junior league or convince these guys to go Advanced, they rip!

Isn't that about your weight? I guess that explains your victory.

    j/k Congrats.

BTW - You Lost Our Bet.

However, I will be nice. I'll let you get off by picking up a Met-rx Bar & a Gaterade(32 oz) for me the next time I see you at the pier & you can walk to the 7-11 on 17th & Pacific to buy my food.

Yes Parker and Perry were ripping it up all day!!! That is what the open is all about though, to see how you compare to riders in other divisions and I think Perry and Parker both will step up next year.

Will it sucks about your wrist. It swelled up so fast. Your the man though for finishing your heat and trying to stay out there. I hope everything heals up quick and we see you back out there real soon.

    Default Killed my wrist

So my wrist was dislocated and I tore all the ligaments and broke a bone. I am out for 6 months, at the least and then the doctors say the best I can hope for is 80% of my grip strength. I have raced dirt bikes mountain bikes and BMX and never hurt myself so badly. So be careful out there.
