Dude, they dress up to go to football games. I don't think you understand how big of a joke their fans are to so many people (at least from what I've seen from people I know in different schools). But, seriously, button downs with ties and sun dresses? Come the frack on.

Why would I? Im not a hater.

I just said I believe Maryland and WVU have the worst fans.

I dont see a big deal with the dress up thing. Sure it may be corney for some people but its just a tradition. If you walk around at a game, I'd say only 1 out of every 10 male students have a tie on.

yeah, i've talked to people and they say that not that many guys dress up for the UVA games, it's just a tradition. i think it's classy but still unnecessary. nothing bad about it.

Al Groh has to be handing money out to the players but everything else is a joke.

For one, thinking someone is a stuck up prick is not hating. When you put off the attitude most UR and UVA students/alumn do, you are basically asking to be viewed in that way.

Second, tradition or not, UVA is the target of so many jokes, at least in VA schools. I had friends wear button downs and ties and name tags that said "UVA Orientation: Hi, I'm a douchbag." for Halloween last year. That's one hell of a lame ass tradition.

But I mean, if you're gonna bro out, you might as well bro all out.

Hahaha, so true. But from what I've seen, most WM kids don't put off some aura that they are fracking hot shit. I've had UVA kids ask me where I go to school and I'm like "JMU" to which they reply, "Ohh, Just Missed UVA, eh?" And I laugh and tell them I had the option and chose not to go to UVA.

"You a WM student?"

"UVA produces some high class educations I see"

Oh and UVA is not even on the same level of Richmond.

I think my favorite UVA kid quote was this kid at a party this summer, "I used to have the frat shag but I shaved it off and I'm still fratty as frack. Wanna have a frat off bro?" He was 100% dead serious too.

After last season....Groh could go 1-11 and he would not be fired. UVA's program is not bent on truly being serious.

Being Coach of the Year wont help either. Last year was a fluke. They could have easily been 7-5 or 6-6.

I don't know your financial situation but it's a horrible price tag for a mediocre diploma that is almost worthless outside Virginia.

well that doesn't sound good. i can't really afford it but i'm not letting price get in my way of education as i am applying to a few super expensive schools: wake $$$ davidson $$$ and vandy $$$$$$$$$$$. hopefully ill end up majoring in something that pays well.

Virginia is known for amazing educations for great prices.

But Richmond does not fall into that factor.

I was in the same situation aiming for super good schools (Public Ivys)...and I got in. And now I have a serious job and I realize that I could of gone to VCU and have the same chance.

It's sort of cool going to a prestigious school but it's overrated in this day and age.
