tell me if i m wrong but
dont boardsocks get all waxy, sandy and shitty inside? and i always thought their inside lint would stick to the board make it look gay...
meatball sub from subway on honey oat bread, pepperjack cheese, toasted, all vegetable (not too many cucumbers and onions), chipotle southwest sauce, honey mustard, sweet onion, that vinaigrette stuff for vegetables they have and top it off with their spices <--- heaven on earth

Board socks are not useless. I have a Victoria Board sock and it absorbs the bumps or scratches it would get while in the car or on the parking lot concrete and keeps my car's interior clean. It's also light weight, extremely washable, soaks up the water from a wet board and dries quickly. It's pretty useful and I've contributed nothing to this thread...

Benefits of socks include protection against minor scratches and dings in the car, UV protection, helps stop wax melt, stops Chinese waxjobs, (very useful if you go to the beach with other people), and are a lot more convenient than boardbags except when traveling.

Also not all board socks are thin pieces of fabric. When we went to Delaware Toby didn't know where he was staying and didn't want to lug a travelbag around so he threw his board in one of these and didn't get a single scratch on either flight. While I don't recommend doing that it does help illustrate that socks are not useless.

hey wardo..that was a good response. i have a better respct for socks now. i always just assumed they were just like fabric sleeves with no real function. btw those look sick.
